HEART OF THE CITY After having shared his heart with Jennifer, Jimmy Ciccerone tries to distance himself from her. Meanwhile, doughnut seller Rosemary Hayes flips: determined to get the attention of "Frank", the customer she believes to be Batman, she takes a rifle to the top of the building and fires randomly on the crowd below. Dionisio Viella returns her fire, and the ricochets from his bullets cause various injuries, including a leg wound for Emma Mayfield. The incident draws Jimmy and Jennifer closer together, and luckily nobody is killed. Rosemary is apprehended by Batman, who is somewhat confused by her misconception of his identity, and Dionisio, having broken his parole conditions, is taken away by the police. Later, Bruce Wayne offers the Mayfields a community-based job, partly because he remembers their son, a playmate when he was a child.
